Story of Franklin Park Steeped in History

Northwest suburban Franklin Park was built on the dream of one German immigrant. Lesser Franklin came to the U.S. and moved west, opening general stores and eventually going into real estate. Franklin’s first project: a large parcel of land not far from downtown Chicago. NBC 5’s Sabrina Santucci looks at the history of Franklin Park as part of our Making a Difference Day summer series.
