Harry Caray Statue Vandalized

Some suspect it's the work of a Sox fan

Holy cow! Vandals defaced the iconic Harry Caray statue outside Wrigley Field Sunday.

Someone spray painted the base of the memorial at North Sheffield and West Waveland with the word "Sox" followed by another illegible word. That has some suspecting the vandalism is the work of a South Side fan.

Most of the paint is gone now, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

This is not the first time the statue of the famed Cubs broadcaster was vandalized. Someone hung a dead goat on it before the 2009 home opener. A similar incident happened in 2007.
