Extra-Alarm Fire Engulfs Suburban Warehouse

Arlington Heights fire crews battled a massive blaze in the 1400 of E. Davis St. Thursday morning. NBC 5’s Mike Lorber reports from Sky 5.

A northwest suburban Chicago warehouse was engulfed in flames Thursday morning in extra-alarm fire.

Just after 6:30 a.m., the fire could be seen roaring through the large vacant plastic manufacturer at Arthur Avenue and Davis Street in Arlington Heights.

Firefighters fought back against the blaze from the structure’s perimeter, as walls and roofing collapsed.

No injuries have been reported. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
