Blue Line service was restored after temporarily being suspended between Kedzie-Homan and Forest Park due to an injured employee, a representative for the Chicago Transit Authority said Monday night.
Service was restored about 9:50 p.m. and the injured employee was transported by the Chicago Fire Department to the hospital, CTA spokesman Jeff Tolman said.
The CTA tweeted about 9:15 that the service is working to get shuttles as soon as possible to impacted area.
It was not immediately clear what condition the injured worker was in.
