Is the Next Astronaut in This Room? ComEd's ‘Solar Spotlight' Reaches For the (STEM) Stars

“We’re learning how to innovate in a creative way!” Solar energy is the focus of ComEd’s “Solar Spotlight” program, which teaches high school students about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), potential opportunities in STEM fields and how to collaborate within the space. “These kids are geeking out in a cool way,” says Rich Negrin, ComEd’s vice president of regulatory strategy and policy.
