Stunning Clouds Roll Over Chicago

Did you catch the incredible clouds over Chicago Friday morning? Andy Avalos explains: “If you live in the city or drive in from the west this is what you see. I like to call them the Michigan Mountains because that’s what they look like along Chicago’s skyline. These are cumulus clouds created by the colder air traveling over the warmer water of Lake Michigan on north winds. These will likely produce a few sprinkles and light rain showers on occasion just off the shore and in NW Indiana.”
