Chicago Native Re-Releases First Film, 1978's “Stony Island”

From movies like “The Fugitive” to “The Guardian,” Chicago native-turned director Andrew Davis has worked with a lot of big-name actors. The Gene Siskel Film Center this week will screen his first movie, 1978’s Stony Island, loosely based on his youth on Chicago’s south side.
