Latest Snowfall Totals for Northern Illinois

The snow is piling up across the area, and places south of the city are getting hammered as a winter storm moves through.

The storm, which has already dumped over six inches of snow in areas south of the NBC 5 viewing area, is snarling traffic and causing hazardous conditions throughout the region.

Here are the latest snowfall totals as of 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon:

Lansing: 1.5 inches 

Midway Airport: 3.5 inches 

Northbrook: 2.6 inches 

O'Hare Airport: 1.9 inches 

Palos Park: 1.5 inches 

Schaumburg: 2.1 inches 

DeKalb County: 

Sycamore: 2 inches

DuPage County: 

Lombard: 3.5 inches  

Grundy County: 

Carbon Hill: 2.3 inches 

Iroquois County: 

Ashkum: 8 inches 

Onarga: 8 inches 

Watseka: 9 inches 

Kane County: 

Aurora: 2.6 inches 

Batavia: 3.1 inches
