Daley on National Guard: “You Have to Look Long-term Solution”

Speaking Monday in response to suggestions that the National Guard patrol Chicago‘s streets, Mayor Richard Daley said that the only effective long-term solution is for residents to become involved in their communities. Police Supt. Jody Weis adds that the largest problem is “the code of silence”.
