A 33-year-old man faces murder charges for beating and killing a 49-year-old man in a halfway house in the South Side.
Donovan Wilson got into a verbal altercation with Ronald Gillerson on 100th street and South Calhoun Avenue Wednesday night, Chicago police said.
Wilson then beat Gillerson to death with a blunt object, according to reports.
Wilson now faces first degree murder, and appears before a judge later today.
