Roquan Smith Fined for Hit on Kirk Cousins

The fine is the first of Smith's career

Chicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith has been fined just over $20,000 for an illegal hit to Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins last weekend.

Smith was flagged for roughing the passer on the hit, where his helmet came into contact with Cousins’ helmet on the play.

Smith’s exact fine is $20,054 for the hit, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
