Chicago Marathon Race Director Comments on Track Coach Alberto Salazar

In the wake of Nike closing its elite Oregon Project track and field program overseen by Alberto Salazar after his four-year doping ban, Carey Pinkowski, race director of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon said the marathon supports the decision on Salazar. Pinkowski also said the marathon will test elite athletes before and after the race.
