“That’s what has to change in life in the Church,” Cardinal Cupich said, “and that’s what the Pope is talking about. But let’s also be clear that people who want to make this about sex in terms of homosexuality and all the rest of it are a diversion from the real issue that we need to attack in the life of the Church and that is that there are some people who believe that they are both privileged and protected.”
