Man Dies in Blowtorch Explosion

Man was welding when torch exploded, reports indicate

    A man working at a Midas Muffler Shop in Westmont died this morning after an explosion at the garage.

    The man was apparently working outside the shop at 401 W. Ogden Avenue with a blowtorch when the explosion occurred, according to Chicago Breaking News.

    The unidentified man is reportedly 28-years-old. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    There was no obvious structural damage to the building and no fire after the explosion.
