The bodies of two teenagers were found in a field on Chicago’s Far South Side late Sunday evening.
Police said the bodies were discovered just before midnight in the 13000 block of South Rhodes with gunshot wounds to the body and pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear how long the bodies had been at the location.
Authorities said neither body had been identified as of early Monday morning.
Officers said shots were detected in the area where the bodies were located a few days earlier.
Two teens were reported missing from the area Friday, but police said it was not known if the bodies found were those of the missing boys.
