A gas station in the South Loop sold a $400,000 winning lottery ticket for a Lucky Day Lotto drawing last month.
The winner, who has not yet come forward, bought the ticket at a Marathon gas station, 1121 S. Jefferson St., and matched all five numbers – 01 – 04 – 07 – 13 – 16 – in the April 30 evening drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The Marathon will receive a $4,000 bonus, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
