Two EF-1 tornadoes touched down in Northern Illinois Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The first tornado began about 8:14 p.m. near Cherry Valley with an estimated peak wind of 100 mph. It ended about four miles south of Belvidere around 8:22 p.m.
The second began at approximately 8:23 p.m. near Belvidere with an estimated peak wind of 100 mph. The tornado ended about 8:25 p.m. about four miles southeast of Belvidere, the service said.
There were no injuries or fatalities due to either tornado.
