White House Calls for International Investigation Into Source of COVID-19

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that the Biden administration supports an international investigation into the source of the coronavirus after reports surfaced that three Wuhan researchers were hospitalized in November 2019 after falling ill. Psaki also cautioned people from drawing conclusions ahead of a formal inquiry, saying, “What we can’t do, and what I would caution anyone doing, is leaping ahead of an actual international process. We don’t have enough data and information to jump to a conclusion at this point in time.”
