Home Care is Personal: Taking Care of Mom and Dad

Shelly Sun, CEO and Co-Founder of Brightstar Care, anticipates an increase in demand for home care as Americans live longer and more seniors want to remain at home. Shelly explains that home care is highly personal: We are taking care of Moms, Dads, Grandmas and Grandpas. The biggest demand is for transportation services to get to doctors’ appointments. Another high demand service is dementia care with 20% of Brightstar clients receving services for some type of dementia.
