Sheriff's Officer, His Son Charged With Extortion

Officer Lawrence A. Draus, a 35-year veteran and high-profile member of the force, and his son, Larry Draus Jr., who goes by his middle name, Eric, were arrested earlier this week. Feds say the pair were collecting protection money out of an informant posing as a trafficker of illegal cigarettes.
