Off-Duty Deputy Accused of Pulling Gun on Pregnant Couple

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputy, Craig French, is under investigation after reportedly waving a gun at an Oswego Walmart, Sunday, during a confrontation with a man and his pregnant wife. Nicole Thurmond was checking out in an express line while her husband, Jason Thurmond, ran to grab eggs. Upset that she was holding up the line, the unidentified off-duty deputy started the altercation. Jason Thurmond was arrested by the Oswego Police Dept. and charged with misdemeanor battery after pushing the officer, though the couple has since filed a formal complaint.
