New 3D Technology Allows People to “Teleport” to Group Meetings

Charlie Wojciechowski shows us new 3D technology called Personify, which uses an imbedded 3-D camera in a laptop or tablet to allow more realistic group conversations. On screen, it can appear as though you were “teleported” to the meeting. The technology was developed at the University of Illinois and it should be available on laptops and tablets later this year.
