Vote Against ‘Chi-Raq' Tax Break Stalled in Finance Committee

Ald. Will Burns brought the debate over whether the state should withhold a tax break for filming the movie “Chi-Raq” in Chicago to the city’s Finance Committee, but he called a no-vote after his opponents argued the issue was more about the violence than the movie title.
