Spring is upon us -- such a bright, optimistic time of year for Cubs fans citywide. Perhaps this is *finally* the long-awaited winning year for our North Side team? Cubs fans never give up the dream, and what better way to celebrate the beginning of another hopeful season than with a set of free roof-top tickets to the Cubs' home opener? Tickets to Opening Day are notoriously hard to come by, let alone free tickets to a Wrigleyville roof-top, so mark your calendar now to be at The Lodge Tavern in the Gold Coast at 10 a.m. the morning of Opening Day, April 13. Complimentary hot dogs will be served, and Bud Light drafts will be on special for $3.50. A raffle drawing for the two roof-top tickets will take place at 11:30 a.m.; the game is at 1:20 p.m. No purchase is necessary to win the tickets, but the winner must be present to win the prize. Once on the roof-top, enjoy food catered from Vines on Clark and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks through the seventh inning. Take us out to the ball game.
