Snoop Doog is going Down Under.
Australia's immigration department granted the rapper/actor a visa to enter the country for a concert tour after a full "character assessment."
Snoop had been in the dog house with the Aussies and was unable to attend the MTV Australian Video Music Awards after being banned in April 2007. He'd been banned from entering Britain just a month before.
Officials were concerned about Snoop Dogg's criminal record, which includes numerous busts for marijuana possession, and weapons charges.
The Long Beach, California native, born Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr, has committed to doing charity work with at-risk youth during his visit to Australia, officials said.
