4 Chicago Cops Violated Multiple Directives in 2016 Fatal Shooting–Except The Killing: Records
Four Chicago police officers violated several police directives during a chaotic car chase, crash and fatal shooting of a teenage car theft suspect on the South Side in July of 2016, according to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. But the actual shooting of the unarmed teenager was deemed to be justified, and the officer who filed the fatal shot was exonerated on that charge. Patrick Fazio reports.
