Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville Evacuated Over Threat

A Naperville high school was evacuated Tuesday after officials said a threat was made against the school.

According to a note to parents from Neuqua Valley High School, the school was evacuated after police informed them of a potential threat. School was dismissed at noon Tuesday as police searched the building.

Authorities said they were investigating a bomb threat. 

Students who take the bus to school will be sent home early and students in special education classrooms will be moved to Welch Elementary School, officials said.

All extracurricular activities were also canceled for the day.
