CPS Promises New Background Checks Ahead of New School Year

CPS students go back to class Tuesday but the district hasn’t finished running background checks on all employees. It’s a move they promised after allegations surfaced of misconduct and abuse in Chicago schools. NBC 5’s Ash-har Quraishi reports.
