The dog days of winter have arrived once again. The International Kennel Club Show held every February at McCormick Place is this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21-22.
During the two days of the show, more than 6,000 dogs in the Sporting, Herding, Hound, Terrier, Toy, Working and Non-Sporting categories are judged.
If you want to see how your beloved labrador retriever, pug, poodle, (insert your dog of choice here) measures up to these fancy show dogs, come by between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on either day. Check out the judging schedule on the International Kennel Club's official web site to be sure you don't miss your favorite breed.
Ticket prices are $16 for adults, $10 for seniors (62 and older) and $3 for children ages 2-12. Discount coupons are available online.
