Ali Velshi, CNN's chief business correspondent and host of "Your $$$$$" and "The Ali Velshi Show," has been a busy guy. Not only because he covers the mess we call the economy these days, along with the government bailout plan and the various collapses of financial institutions, but also because he has written his first book, "Gimme My Money Back: Your Guide to Beating the Financial Crisis."
Velshi will be in Chicago promoting his book Tuesday, Feb. 10 through Friday, Feb. 13. A book launch party will take place from 6-8PM on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Fulton's on the River in the Loop, hosted by "Michigan Avenue" magazine and Sterling & Ross Publishers. Velshi will be in attendance at the cocktail party for a book signing, as well as available for interviews about timely topics such as the Obama stimulus plan, financial trends and personal savings plans. Fulton's on the River will be serving complimentary vodka cocktails and passed light bites during the event.
Velshi's new book outlines the current economic situation in his trademark user-friendly voice. He offers readers advice on understanding the economic crisis and simple, straightforward ways to help get you out of it. Copies of "Gimme My Money Back" will be on sale during the book launch party at Fulton's on the River for $10.
