3 Charged in Armed Robbery of Gold Coast Store

The teen woman and two 20-year-old men face felony charges after detectives found stolen items being sold online

A group of women walked into a Gold Coast designer clothing store Monday afternoon and stole 10 purses after threatening to spray an employee with mace, authorities said. NBC 5’s Natalie Martinez reports.

Three people have been charged in the armed robbery of a Gold Coast store last week.

The teen woman and two 20-year-old men face felony charges after detectives investigating the robbery of a business in the 900 block of North Rush Street last week found stolen items being sold online, police said.

Nineteen-year-old Tia Jennings was charged with felony armed robbery while the two men, Lawrence Hall and Tishawn Holliday, were charged with felony theft of items valuing $10,000-$100,000.

The name of the business was not immediately known, but last week authorities said a group of women walked into a Gold Coast designer clothing store and stole 10 purses after threatening to spray an employee with mace.

Police officers could be seen inside a Christian Dior store.

The women took off southbound on Rush Street with two men in a dark-colored sedan, police said.
