The Buzz: Moylan was elected to mayor of Des Plaines in 2009 after serving as alderman of the 2nd ward of Des Plaines. He formerly worked in the electrical field in construction as the electrical inspector and deputy director of the Des Plaines Building Department.
Moylan supports Gov. Pat Quinn's action against the gambling expansion bill which he believes would provide unnecessary competition to the existing Rivers Casino.
