MJ is back -- sort of.

The most famous basketball player in the world is putting another stamp on Chicago in the form of a new Michael Jordan’s Steak House.  The restaurant opened Tuesday in the InterContinental Chicago, at 505 N. Michigan Ave.

The 6,300 square foot restaurant is spread out over a second-floor dining room and a first-floor lobby bar of the hotel.

The Chicago restaurant is the third outpost, and executive chef James O'Donnel oversees the "hand-selected USDA Prime, dry-aged steaks, upscale comfort food, fresh seafood, and a wide variety of artisanal wines, local craft brews and specialty cocktails."

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, with lunch entrées ranging from $14-$25 and dinner entrées $25-$45. Prime-aged steaks are $40 and up.

And while you're there, keep an eye open for a certain 6-foot 6-inch tall former ball player hanging around.
