Team Coco fans will have to wait until next year for their favorite red-headed comedian to return to Chicago.

Conan O’Brien announced Wednesday he's taking his TBS show on the road this fall starting Oct. 31 at New York’s Beacon Theater.

Chicago is on the schedule of stops, but not until 2012. Details are still being worked out, including the venue and number of tapings.

O'Brien spent a week in Chicago in 2008 to tape NBC "Late Night" at the Chicago Theatre.
