Police are searching for a young woman who robbed a downtown Chicago bank Tuesday morning.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, held up a Chase Bank branch in the 600 block of North Dearborn Street just before 9 a.m., according to the Chicago FBI.

She was wearing dark clothing, a baseball cap and sunglasses and carrying a black purse.

FBI officials said the woman handed a bank teller a note demanding money and implying she had a weapon, threatening harm if her demands weren't met. She received an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Chicago FBI at 312-421-6700.
