A Hanover Park man faces charges of indecent solicitation of a child after police say he tried to set up a meeting with who he thought was an 8-year-old girl.
Authorities say Andrew Kozar, 27, placed an online ad looking for someone to allow him to have sex with their niece, sister, young girlfriend/wife, or daughter, and that he was open on age.
An officer with the Cook County Sheriff’s Child Exploitation Unit responded to the ad claiming he had an 8-year-old daughter, and allegedly spoke with Kozar for a week before they agreed to meet to engage in sexual activity with the girl.
Police say Kozar showed up to a pre-determined Forest Park location where he was arrested.
Kozar's bond was set at $250,000 with special conditions that he have no Internet access, no phone access, and no contact with minors if he's released.
