If you ever dreamed of turning your apartment into an amusement park, now's your chance.

The rides at the shuttered Kiddieland amusement park are up for auction on November 24.

The items up for bid include a vintage carousel that features rare, hand-carved horses that's valued at close to $1 million; the six-car Roto Whip; and the park's Ferris wheel.

The park had originally hoped to sell all of the rides in one fell swoop but the buyer they had lined up for the remaining rides backed out at the last minute.

"We had a signed contract with someone who would have bought nearly all of the rides and moved the bulk of it to Utica, Ill., but the [would-be] buyer defaulted," co-owner Tom Norini told the Sun-Times. A few items have already been sold. The parks iconic train and five other rides were sold to an amusement park in New Jersey.

Rides aren't the only thing on the auction block. Norton Auctioneers, which will facilitate the auction, is also taking bids on tools, signs and food service equipment -- who couldn't' t use a cotton candy maker?
