Rapper Lil Wayne will mark his return to the land of the free by dropping a new record.
The album was originally supposed to be an EP, but is now being promoted as a full-length record that will utilize tracks that were at one time supposed to land on another project, "Tha Carter IV."
"I know once he got out [of jail] those songs would be so old to him," Bryant said.
He also said that Wayne has been constantly writing while incarcerated and that "Tha Carter IV," which is expected to hit the shelves next year, will be filled with all new material.
"He's probably going to start from scratch," Bryant said. "I know how he records - he's in the studio every single day. That's his life."
Wayne is set for release on November 5, four months before his term was due to end.
