Real Estate tycoon lists this secluded estate at $27 million dollar discount.

In February, real estate tycoon Donald G. Abbey listed two properties: a Med-style estate in Bradbury, Califronia, and this large-scale home affectionally named Whispering Rock. At one time, Whispering Rock was the fifth most expensive home in the country.

The high price buys lots of over-the-top features, like Indiana limestone sliding, African mahogany Italian marble, a room with 45-foot ceilings and heated porticos, and a perch on a 24-acre private island next to the Glacier National Park. It also sits in the middle of Flathead Lake, a detail that promises stunning views and ample privacy. However, buyers wouldn't bite, and the price was cut $27 million to $78 million, reports Curbed. (Maybe buyers were turned off by the fact that it's only accessible by boat?)
The home has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, takes up 24,000 square feet of luxurious living space, and sits on 24 acres of stunning property. There are fireplaces in the guest house, library, living room, and master bedroom. The home also boasts a second-story gallery, baronial hall with limestone fireplace, 120-inch television, and “lustrous” built-in mahogany paneling.
The floors are made of gorgeous marble and stone and there's a pleasant breakfast area, spacious pantry, laundry room, and covered porch. There's also a barn adjacent to the guest house.
