The Groupon buzz continues as the company’s founder Andrew Mason prepares to leave the Allen & Co. tech conference, with no major (or quirky) announcements.

Life goes on: Tuesday we learned that Groupon’s daily deals have moved on to big-ticket items – like cars. Sadly, you've got to live in Detroit to take advantage of this deal, but some say it's a way for Groupon to distinguish itself against competitors. More cities are on the daily deal train, with the addition of four including Toronto, even though some analysts there have doubts.

The Sun Valley Allen & Co. conference ended with no surprises – not even from Andrew Mason. (Idaho Mountain News).

Earlier we learned that Groupon is offering $500 off the purchase of a car from a Detroit dealership. (Chicago Tribune

The company continues its expansion with the announcement of four more North American cities. (BusinessWire).

And the expansion includes Toronto, where one analyst has doubts about Groupon's stamina and finances. (Toronto Star).
