The Chicago Bears celebrate after defensive lineman William Perry scores a touchdown during Super Bowl XX against the New England Patriots at the Superdome in New Orleans.

The 1985 Bears are getting their Super Bowl congratulations at the White House, albeit a little late.

President Barack Obama has invited the team to Washington D.C. Friday in honor of the Super Bowl XX champs.

The team never got to visit the White House following the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion two days after their January 1986 victory over New England.

Nearly 26 years later, Bears fan Obama is making it right.

Most of the 1985 team members and coaches are expected to attend.
