Sunday morning's light to moderate snow will soon come to an end with an expected additional accumulation of 2 to 5 inches



    Sunny Weather Finally Arriving in Chicago

    Sunny weather is finally on the way for the Chicago area, and NBC 5's Alicia Roman gets the honor of giving you the good news!

    After a weekend Winter Weather Advisory was issued, the Chicago area saw between 8 and 13 inches of snow and experienced nine consecutive days of measurable snowfall, according to the National Weather Service.

    Sunny skies are expected to welcome the new work week along with warmer  temperatures, up to about 40 degrees.
