A winter weather advisory has expired in the Chicago area, but six or more inches of snow fell overnight, causing travel issues around the region.
Those impacts included snow-covered roads, but also included flight delays at O'Hare, as a ground stop was issued Sunday morning for flights arriving in the region.

The big story was once again the snow, which fell in heavy bursts overnight, especially in parts of the area north of Chicago.
