Heat and humidity could give way to storms over the next couple days across the Chicago area.
While most areas are expected to remain dry Tuesday, NBC 5 weather models show a slight possibility for storms in the early afternoon in up to 30 percent of the area, moving west to east. By Wednesday, the threat for storms increases.

Likely showers will continue on Monday, starting the week with temperatures in the mid-80s.
