In case you've been missing the white, wet stuff that defines our winters and covered our streets a couple weeks ago, it's making its way back.

About 1-2 inches of snow could cover the ground early this afternoon. Precipitation will taper into flurries later on, but be careful on your drive home this evening.

Afternoon temps are expected to top out between 24 and 28 degrees. Friday will be seasonably cold, with more flurries possible.
