Sunny, Warm Weekend in Store For Chicago

Temperatures will be in the 60s the entire week

The sun comes out after every storm.

The Chicago area can look forward to a warm and mostly sunny weekend ahead with temperatures in the 60s throughout the week.

Saturday will remain dry with a high of 63 degrees by 5 p.m., just above the average of 57 degrees for this time of year. Temperatures near the lake will be cooler with highs in the 50s.

Rain showers head for the Chicago area on Sunday afternoon and evening, and spotty showers will continue throughout the night until early Monday morning. An isolated storm may pop up during the rain showers, but it will not reach the severity of last week's storms.

The rest of the week will see temperatures in the 60s every day. The next chance for rain showers and a possible storm will be Thursday.
