Roughly 500 flights in and out of Chicago's two airports were canceled on Thursday as a winter storm hovered over the area.
At O'Hare, airlines are reporting delays averaging 45 minutes for all flights in and out of the airport. Mare than 500 flights have been canceled due to weather.
Meanwhile, Midway delays are averaging 20 minutes. Airlines are reporting 15 cancellations.
Southwest Airlines has canceled all flights since 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10.
