Storm winds ripped part of the roof off Wrigley Field Tuesday.

A portion of the fiberboard paneling above the press box blew off and into the road last night. No one was injured. Chicago police blocked off the street and the sidewalk around the park.

An inspection will take place later in the day Wednesday.

The storm also blew out the windows in the lobby of a building on Lake Shore Drive, as well as five other buildings in the area. No serious damage was reported.

These buildings will be reinspected Wednesday, officials said during a morning press conference.
