The threat of a spring-like storm after Monday's spring-like temperatures has diminished.
Still, the city is likely going to get some rain around the 10 p.m. hour as a cold front continues its march toward the city.
The front will mean the mid-60 temperatures the Chicago area had Monday won't be sticking around, but the change won't be drastic. Temperatures are expected to be in the 50s on Tuesday.
Monday began with dense fog that plagued the morning commute. The fog advisory reduced visibility to less than a mile in many locations. That expired at 8 a.m., but some areas of fog lingered in multiple spots along Lake Michigan and in the suburbs.
