Winter is still coming, but winter weather is here.
Friday morning temperatures sat in the teens and will only recover into the low- and mid-20s by the afternoon in the metro area. Northwest Indiana could see temperatures climb into the upper-20s.
Wind gusts between 15 and 20 mph will keep wind chill readings in the teens.
Temps are expected to stay cold through the weekend, but will likely recover into the low- to mid-30s.
Thankfully, things look to stay dry through the start of next week.
